CONDENSED CAMPGROUND RULES
• It is expected that all Scouts and leaders will honor and live by the Scout Oath, Law and Outdoor Code.
• Trees, shrubs and plants will not be destroyed, damaged or removed.
• Ropes will not be attached to trees or shrubs for any purpose.
• Clotheslines must be between tent poles or other non-natural growth.
• Campfires are permitted, but only in provided fire pans. Do NOT bring firewood, it will be provided.
• Trash must be placed in provided containers in closed plastic bags and left in designated locations.
• Alcohol, firearms, paint ball guns, air guns, bows and arrows, slingshots or fireworks are NOT allowed.
• All electronic devices must be inaudible to others, and the camp must be quiet during designated sleep hours.
• All camp gear must be on your designated campsite only.
• No Smoking / vaping except in designated areas.
• Stay off the gravel hills.
• No swimming in Lake Huron
• Be respectful of others. We are sharing the campground with other non-Scout campers who are not part of Mackinac Rendezvous.

SATURDAY ISLAND PROGRAM OVERVIEW
• LUNCH – You will provide your own lunch and will eat at your leisure while on the Island.
• DOWNTOWN PROGRAM - Mackinac Island has been a focal point of history, great shops and tourist adventures for over two hundred years. Become a “tourist” and visit the great downtown shops and get some of the world’s best fudge!
• FORT PROGRAMS - Please enter only at the South Sally Port for an exciting tour of Fort Mackinac. Enjoy the sights and sounds of old Fort Mackinac and Fort Holmes.
• ISLAND VISIT - Mackinac Island has many historical and natural sites that are open for you to explore. Take a walk back in time and explore the island.
• GRAND HOTEL PORCH WALK – walk across the magnificent front porch of The Grand Hotel and take in the wonderful views. Scheduled by color group: GREEN – 10:30am, BLUE – 11:30am, RED – 12:30pm, YELLOW – 1:30pm
• BE SURE TO ARRIVE AT MARQUETTE PARK BY THE STATUE AT YOUR COLOR GROUPS SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME!
ISLAND PROGRAM REMINDERS
• WRIST BAND: Make sure your color Wrist Band is visible and on your person at all times. Your color Wrist Band identifies you as an official participant of this Mackinac Rendezvous. It also serves as your admission to the bus, ferry, Fort Mackinac, Fort Michilimackinac, Historic Mill Creek, and is your Saturday night meal ticket.
• DO NOT LOSE YOUR WRIST BAND! It is color-coded to divide the entire Rendezvous into smaller program groups. It IS waterproof and can be worn when showering!
• COLOR GROUPS: The four-color groups are: Blue, Yellow, Red and Green. Departure and arrival is by color group. Stay with your color group and unit at all times. This includes when waiting for transport.
• UNIT CONTROL: Each unit is a team and is to stay together during the transportation to and from the island, during the Island visit, and the Saturday night meal. Your unit leadership is responsible for the safety and conduct of its Scouts and Leaders. Units need to have a leader(s) in the front and back of the group and in the middle if it is a large group.
• EMERGENCIES: For a medical emergency report to the Mackinac Island Medical Center at 7474 Market Street, or call 911. Please advise any member of the Security Staff “wearing orange hats” that an injury or medical emergency has taken place.
